I'm in the process of launching a new Web site for The Edge. It's to replace their current Web site.
An upgrade is long overdue but more importantly, the new Web site represents the start of a transformation of the newsroom for the digital age.
How traditional print news media can be adapted to the Web and mobile environment is something that even those in the West are grappling with.
For the most part, newspapers there have not done it well at all.
The Nieman Foundation has just produced a report with a lot of views on how to do it right.
In the following days, I'll be commenting on the suggestions and contrast them to the things I'm experiencing as I build up The Edge's Web site.
