From Opera Software:
In Functions 3D you can enter a mathematical function and have it rendered in a 3D space. The equations are entered as a function of x and y. An example for a unit sphere would be f(x,y) = (1 - x^2 - y^2) ^ (1/2). Functions 3D can be used with operators, variables and Constants, standard functions, and trigonometric functions.
