Professional Services Security Success Story: Latin American Supermarket Chain

Overview

As part of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and review process, a large Latin American Supermarket Chain was required to confirm its level of security from external attacks. It had no clear information regarding its external exposure to and threats from Internet-based attacks. Lucent performed an in-depth assessment to evaluate the Supermarket Chain's Internet-exposed infrastructure against the PCI Standards, and most specifically, the Site Data Protection standard. Availability, data integrity, privacy, confidentiality, authentication, and access control were identified as priority issues.
