SBS Leasing Saves 35% on Document Management Costs and Prepares for Growth

Overview

SBS Leasing sells financial and operating leases through direct and indirect agency channels in northern Italy. The company wanted to reduce risk in document management, as business disruption could cost as much as EUR40,000 an hour. The challenge was to manage expected growth in document flow and reduce document management costs for 4.5 million documents handled every year. They wanted to improve processing speed and sales force efficiency by automating document flow process. SBS Leasing implemented Oracle Real Application Clusters 10g using its shared disk architecture to deliver high availability and scalability and its standard computing resources to cut operating costs and add new servers.
