Transaction computer application handle data in a completely different way compared to data analysis applications. Data analysis application display information and manipulate it many different ways. Transaction applications also create data and manage it over the course of time. This management has many facets. The authors focus on two areas: data history and ease of maintenance of the datasets and application.
