Accenture Finance Solutions Enhances Security While Improving Information Access and Reporting Tools

Overview

Accenture Finance Solutions is a global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company. The company wanted to improve data security, as well as enhance and standardize access control procedures in line with statutory Italian business requirements, following the take-over of the existing Italian company, Arthis. The challenge was to upgrade audit and reporting tools and integrate with a complex technology environment composed of several systems and applications on different platforms. The company built a reliable central data repository controlled by user identities, linked to all related accounts on the target systems, using Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Database. It also reconciled identities from the existing human resources system with associated job roles to ensure secure access.
