Overview
SCM Group wanted to support plans for international expansion adequately with a single and integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and create homogeneous, centralized, automated systems for management of data and procedures in the global network. The challenge was to create consistent procedures for all group branches and new acquisitions while preserving the distinguishing features that make each of them unique and integrate the new structure with the existing management control system. SCM Group integrated all group companies, headquarter and subsidiaries, with Oracle E-Business Suite, thanks to its ability to provide access to data and business processes via the Web and cut operating costs by automating processes.
