Overview

The European Patent Office grants European patents. The EPO carries out searches and substantive examinations on a steadily rising number of European patent applications and international applications filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty. The European Patent Office (EPO) needed to support up to 60 million patents documents and 800,000 patents within a high availability and ultra resilient DB2 environment.
