BEA Systems Case Study: DekaBank

Overview

The DekaBank Group as the central asset manager of the Sparkasse Financial Group manages fund assets of around €190 billion. The Bank wanted to produce an access layer to central data sources so that all data that is available for the portfolio structure in the central portfolio management system is at Fund Management's disposal. DekaBank deployed BEA systems for its solution and implemented BEA AquaLogic Data Services Platform which models the central data uniformly in a technical context and provides these business objects to local applications in real time.
