Polaris World Optimizes Budgetary Management With Integrated Planning System

Overview

Polaris World wanted to create a budgetary management and financial operations planning system on the Polaris World mainframe and facilitate financial management that takes into account the complexity of the company's structure and volume of business. The challenge was to model the budgetary process to establish dates for the beginning, review, and final approval of the budget and automate the uploading procedure for extracting real data from Oracle E-Business Suite to improve IT team productivity. Polaris World worked with Oracle Partner Capgemini to implement Oracle's Hyperion Planning, providing Polaris World with a tool enabling long-term budgetary planning to ensure business viability.
