The challenge was to automate academic and administrative procedures to reduce reprocessing and data duplication. The Universidad Politecnica de Aguascalientes worked with Oracle Partner EDCON to implement a robust IT infrastructure and create a model that is easy to replicate and extend to the country's other polytechnic universities and created a robust database with Oracle Database Standard Edition, integrating academic and administrative information for use by 110 professors, 40 administrators, and 7 board members.
