Sun Ray Ultra-Thin Client Deployment Options

Overview

The thin client deployment architecture can take several forms depending on the needs or current infrastructure of the business. Implementations can range from a small, single office network, to a highly secure implementation deployed over multiple locations, to multiple end-user groups such as a military installation or a financial services organization. This paper also addresses various ways in which Sun Ray ultra-thin clients can be implemented into new or existing networks; how they can be used to provide Microsoft Windows ("Windows") functionality; and what deployment options exist in environments such as home offices, secure multinetworks, and branch offices. These are presented in helpful scenarios later in the paper.
