Overview

Longhorn and Vista have similarities, but Microsoft is developing each operating system into separate entities. Think of Windows Vista as a replacement for XP, and dream of Longhorn as a successor to Windows Server 2003. This paper is review of the highlights of this new desktop operating system. Despite a degree of uncertainty over which features will make the final version, Vista is great.
