Overview
DataRoad has been an Oracle Certified Solution Partner for nearly 14 years, offering true Oracle expertise in the form of consulting and implementation, as well as hosting and managed services. DataRoad also owns and maintains its own IT hosting infrastructure. At the beginning, this IT infrastructure was based on proprietary UNIX platform servers, but when the company decided to switch to a Linux platform, it slowly transitioned on to HP ProLiant Series servers. Over time, DataRoad's IT department began to suffer under the increased workload brought on by the company's success, prompting it to search for new ways to streamline its IT infrastructure and improve system performance and flexibility.
