Intel SMB IT Makeover Program Helps New Swan Derive Business Value From Information Technology

To conduct business with global players in the automotive industry, New Swan Autocomp. Pvt. Ltd. realized that it needed to streamline business processes and leverage IT. Manual and ad hoc processes affected productivity and blocked visibility into the business, forcing managers to spend all their time overseeing day-to-day operations. To manage growth, acquire new customers, and align its IT infrastructure with global practices, New Swan needed an IT makeover. Intel IT and Nuron, a local Independent Software Vendor (ISV), analyzed New Swan's business processes. Based on Intel IT best practices, the team recommended Nuron Infiniti, ERP solution for SMBs. Next, they mapped the IT infrastructure to the new business processes and deployed one Intel Xeon processor-based server and ten Intel Pentium 4 processor-based client machines for specific tasks.
