Online travel agency Travelocity built a gadget for Windows Sidebar that is helping the company better connect with and serve its customers. Customers can use the gadget to search for travel from their desktops, as well as have Travelocity notify them of exceptional values for destinations of interest. Travelocity developed the new solution with minimal developer effort and is supporting it with the company's existing Web infrastructure.
