Peirce College Accelerates and Secures Student Portal with Crescendo Networks

Overview

Peirce College wanted to offer online student course enrollment and registration using the Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS). However the college had to meet two key requirements: scalable performance for its growing student population and security to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Peirce College deployed Crescendo Networks application delivery controller, AppBeat DC, to ensure the performance, security and availability of its Jenzabar student portal. Now students can securely register and enroll for classes without experiencing flash crowds or latency.
