To provide merchandisers and store managers with valuable color images of upcoming products, Dawahares chose to evaluate the Lexmark C534n color laser printer. | |||

Phased Output Strategy and Cost Savings Put Laredo Independent School District at the Head of the Class | 0000-00-00 | Lexmark International |
| The Laredo Independent School District (ISD) has come a long way from its inception as a single room schoolhouse more than a century ago. Under pressure to cut costs and extricate itself from day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of its output devices, Laredo ISD concluded that replacing its aging hardware would solve its immediate needs but not provide a foundation for other productivity-enhancing applications. With a comprehensive Lexmark output strategy, the schools of Laredo, Texas, replace 1,800 output devices, engage Lexmark for Distributed Fleet Management and implement a powerful testing and grading solution. | |||

Midwest School District Gives Lexmark High Marks for Slashing Costs, Standing Behind Its Products | 0000-00-00 | Lexmark International |
| As with all publicly funded school systems, the Auburn-Washburn Unified School District's operating budget demands that expenses be tightly controlled without compromising academic quality. In looking for places to rein in spending, the hundreds of inkjet printers distributed throughout its nine schools became an easy and logical target. These inkjet printers were expensive to operate and were unable to keep up with the demands of students, teachers and administrators. Moving ahead with a pilot project, the Auburn-Washburn team started with its middle school and installed one Lexmark 40 page per minute (ppm) monochrome laser printer for each "Pod" of four classrooms. The cost savings for the school has been immediate.
