| Prairie Clinic decided to implement an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system because they existed in an environment of increasing regulation and increasing need for verification of payment. To find the right IT provider, several IT vendors were engaged from nearby Madison in a formal RFP (Request for Proposal) process and the principals from every company were interviewed. At the conclusion of the RFP process, Inacom was named as the single-point-of-contact vendor for the Prairie Clinic, and designed a comprehensive project plan to implement a standalone network from the ground up.
