The consol functions like a virtual desktop for data processing and analysis. Jeulin engineers determined that use of Platform Builder for Windows Embedded and 100 per cent access to the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 kernel code could cut time to market by between 45 and 50 per cent, and create a more user-friendly process than Linux.

These enhanced features have resulted in increased usage of the network projectors, while Epson expects to achieve a return on investment for the development a year earlier than projected.
