| French manufacturer Jeulin introduced its new computer-aided scientific experimentation device based on the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system. The consol functions like a virtual desktop for data processing and analysis. Jeulin engineers determined that use of Platform Builder for Windows Embedded and 100 per cent access to the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 kernel code could cut time to market by between 45 and 50 per cent, and create a more user-friendly process than Linux.

Embedded Software Enhances Projector Connectivity, Boosts Usage | 2008-09-04 | Microsoft |
| Seiko Epson (Epson) manufactures peripherals, electronic devices, and precision products. To stay ahead in its projector business, Epson wanted to deliver a projector with improved connectivity, simplified setup, and wireless transmission capabilities. Through a Joint Development Program with Microsoft, Epson choose to use Windows Embedded CE 6.0 to develop a smart, connected, service-oriented projector. Its EMP-1825 (PowerLite 1825 in the United States) Network Projectors with embedded CE 6.0 can be easily detected, rapidly set up, and are able to wirelessly receive audio-visual content and presentation files. These enhanced features have resulted in increased usage of the network projectors, while Epson expects to achieve a return on investment for the development a year earlier than projected.

| The requirement of U-Eyes Media Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was to port the Standalone and Active-X Plug-in versions of Flash Player 7 SDK to the device running on Windows CE 5.0 OS. The client invited Calsoft Labs to port Flash Player onto their advertising machine device running on Windows CE 5.0 operating systems based on Calsoft Labs's expertise in similar porting works. With the Calsoft Labs team taking up the porting of Flash Player development work, the client was able focus on his core OS level changes / implementations which allowed them to showcase the end product in much less time.

| The Client is a leading provider of consumer electronics devices. The client was using Flash content as a user interface. The device also had internet access via wi-fiport, and the client needed to be able to play Flash content off the internet. Since there is no publicly available Flash player that could be run on Windows CE, the client approached Calsoft Labs to create a customer player that'll run on their device. With the Calsoft Labs team taking up the porting of Flash Player development work, the client was able focus on the UI development and hardware optimization which allowed them to bring the product to market in much shorter time.
