Overview

Costco Wholesale wanted to deploy a centralized document capture solution that can handle very high volumes daily and reduce labor costs related to document capture and improve productivity. The challenge was to ensure that the new solution is easy to deploy and use to avoid business disruption and encourage user acceptance and enable tight integration with Costco's IBM AS/400 platform. Costco Wholesale dramatically accelerated the document capture process with Oracle Document Capture (previously known as Captovation eCapture4) and eliminated manual scanning and indexing processes - allowing Costco to manage increasing document volumes with the same number of staff members.
