whitepaper Microsoft Partner Recruitment Efforts Streamlined With Microsoft Dynamics CRM2008-01-01 Microsoft
Recruiting new partners to fill niche markets is an integral part of the through-partner sales strategy at Microsoft. Vital to the success of these efforts, partner recruitment groups are tasked with identifying best-fit partners and managing them through the recruitment life cycle. However, the groups lacked a standardized process and toolset to handle such a task. With aspirations to achieve one centralized solution and gain visibility and reporting at a global level, the groups turned to Microsoft IT (MSIT) for its expertise with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Over the course of only three months, MSIT developed the Partner Recruitment Tracker. This tool, based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, supports the recruitment process, helping to provide better services to partners, streamline operations, and ultimately increase productivity.

whitepaper Navigating Business Intelligence: Understanding Customer Relationships and Households2008-01-01 ITNetwork365
A major challenge facing organizations today is its ability to understand the relationships between its customers. This is not surprising considering the abundant number of un-integrated and disparate source systems that drive the core operations of an organization; a lack of consistency and enforcement of data quality rules across source systems; and a general lack of understanding regarding exactly what data is available. It is most surprising that organizations whose bottom line is driven by how it responds to and target its customers do not have a good picture of this most valuable asset.
