| Founded in 1976, S.T.M SpA is prominent in the power transmission sector in Italy and abroad. S.T.M SpA wanted to obtain an accurate vision of production costs and the cost of outsourced work and automate expense forecasting. The challenge was to introduce new models that allow the company to more effectively plan spending and improve management control. S.T.M SpA worked with eXstone to use Oracle's JD Edwards World Supply Chain Management applications to implement a new expense planning system and introduced a new process which automatically estimates expenditure for raw materials purchases and outsourced processes on the basis of sales forecasts.
