California College of the Arts (CCA) was founded in 1907 to provide an education for artists and designers that integrated theory and practice in the arts. Keeping track of almost 50,000 children under the care of Florida's Department of Children and Families is a daunting task at best - especially if they are reported missing, a fear that gets realized all too frequently these days. They wanted to improve the identification of children in the department's care, increase the speed of access to photos during an emergency and integrate a new solution into a diverse legacy PC environment with minimal impact. The Department of Children and Families purchased 2,961 HP PhotoSmart 320xi devices to equip every field worker with a digital camera. It also bought 300 HP PhotoSmart 130xi printers for the field offices to enable fast printing of images directly from the cameras.
