| An enterprise's supply chain is recognized as a significant lever that can be used to improve profitability, increase customer satisfaction, and reinvigorate the enterprise. Modern supply chain operations call for improvements in access to data across the enterprise, removing old silos, and providing a customer view of data (as opposed to a functional or departmental view). In addition, shifting the enterprise to living and working in real time brings a new vitality to an old core function of an enterprise, its supply chain. | |||

Weblogic Server 8.1: Using BEA WebLogic JMS With Applets | 0000-00-00 | BEA Systems |
| In WebLogic Server 8.1, you can run using the standard jar or the client jar. The standard jar, weblogic.jar, contains all of the software to run WebLogic Server and provides full functionality (both client and server). However, it is large in size (over 37 MB). While this is fine for a server side application, this is a large file to download for use in an applet. The client jar is much smaller in size. This paper demonstrates using JMS from an applet, including the use of an asynchronous JMS consumer, an AWT GUI, both the normal and thin client jars, Java Web Start, the applet viewer, etc.

The TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Server supports Royal Caribbean's data warehouse, which run on IBM eServer i890, i830, and i820 as well as IBM eServer p650 and p630 systems.
