Overview
The University of Surrey (UniS) employs 2,500 people and provides courses for 13,500 students from 140 countries. The university wanted to update existing PeopleSoft client/server human resources solution and improve upon 30% usage of available functionality. It wanted to replace more than 60 disparate Human Resource (HR) systems with a single system to improve integrity and accessibility of data. The university wanted to provide accurate, real-time management information to facilitate consensus and decision-making. UniS upgraded to Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) internet solution and extended the use its PeopleSoft Absence Management and PeopleSoft eDevelopment modules to create an adaptable, efficient, and streamlined HR system.
