Overview

Monash University is Australia's largest university with 45,000 students and 7,000 staff members. The Monash University needed to be aware of and have the ability to resolve problems before they affect users; maintain system availability; have the ability to monitor Web sites. Monash University now has a variety of PATROL by BMC Software products installed on more than 50 separate systems, including their Unix and Microsoft Windows Servers, ensuring that any system failures or anomalies are reported to the support staff as soon as possible.
