Ethernet Demarcation: Managing Ethernet up the Riser

Overview
Ethernet Demarcation (ED) is a Converged Packet Access technology designed to cost-effectively manage the riser connection between the MCI Point of Presence in a building and the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). By placing an intelligent ED device next to the CPE, the health of the customer's services can be monitored and tested end-to-end.
