Overview

The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is one of the twenty largest school districts in the nation. WCPSS's challenge primarily focused on ensuring privacy protection of confidential information. Despite the fact that both student, and employee, records contained sensitive information that needed to be sent securely, regulatory compliance was a large challenge. WCPSS's IT department needed to provide users with an alternative, compliant, and secure method to email attachments. WCPSS's deployed BDS, which is a clientless, Web-based secure file transfer solution that enables enterprise-class secure file transfer. Data transfer is secure, authenticated, and delivered directly from point-to-point.
