Overview

The Windows Server 2008 operating system is the next generation of the Windows Server that is designed to help High-Performance Computing (HPC) administrators maximize control over their infrastructure, while providing enhanced availability and management capabilities. This leads to a significantly more secure, reliable server environment than ever before. Windows HPC Server 2008, which is the Microsoft offering for supercomputing, uses the same code base as Windows Server 2008 and inherits the high availability features amongst many others. This webcast explains how to tune Windows HPC Server 2008 to take advantage of high availability.
