The challenge was ensuring connectivity to the increasing number of new devices and technologies that are becoming of common use in the modern healthcare environments, possibility of using tablet PCs and other systems (X-ray inspection systems, measuring, exam and testing systems, etc) in a networked environment through Wi-Fi connections, etc. AUSL deployed Mobility Exchange WLAN Controllers and the Mobility Point 802.11 a/b/g access points have been successfully implemented in the main buildings, covering different administrative offices, the IT operative premises, the infectious diseases compound and in the surgery area.
