The intention was to build this profile in full at the heart hospital while rolling it out gradually to the other hospitals in the network. Cisco Partner Global Data Systems Designs Hybrid IP Communications Solution for Parish National Bank | 0000-00-00 | Cisco Systems |
| Parish National Bank focuses its business on the suburban area north of New Orleans, serving small to midsize businesses and retail accounts. The bank was growing fast and opening new branches regularly. With all of these branch locations, the standard PBX [private branch exchange] network was expensive, and the existing voice-mail system was increasingly unreliable. The bank's existing ISDN phone switch was several years old, and required the bank to have point-to-point links between its branches and the operations center. GDS educated the bank executives on the benefits of a converged network and how it would affect their business. The company designed a hybrid solution so that the bank could continue using the PBX system where feasible and migrate to an IP Communications solution from Cisco Systems.
