New Portal Technology Creates Fresh Opportunities for School Extranet | 2009-04-01 | Microsoft |
| St Margaret's Anglican Girls School is an independent day and boarding school located near Brisbane, Australia. It has about 860 students aged between 5 and 18. The school had a secure internet portal which served as a gateway for on-site internet access and an authentication point for remote access to internal school systems, such as class scheduling, budgeting and school results. However, the existing portal was unstable, it was inaccessible to third-party vendors and IT staff required external support if they wanted to make new internal applications available. In 2008, the school's gateway failed completely. Within a matter of days, Data#3 had installed and configured Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway 2007 as a temporary solution, restoring remote access to off-site parents, staff and students.

Bonduelle Implements an MPLS VPN to Reduce Complexity and IT Costs While Improving the Availability of Its Systems | 2009-02-01 | |
| The Bonduelle Group is the only food processing company involved in the three main areas of vegetable processing technology: canned foods, frozen foods and sophisticated fresh produce. After a period of difficulty, Bonduelle decided to assume more control over its facilities management providers and to take over the contracts in its own name again (purchasing, maintenance, telecoms). Furthermore, a planned change to the facilities management provider required the implementation of an open and scalable network to ensure the appropriate level of reversibility. After consulting the world's leading operators, they soon established that Verizon Business was the main player offering guaranteed total coverage as a sole provider, as well as reliable and continuous commercial monitoring.

Juniper Networks Enables Secure Remote Access for the Thai Technology Institute | 2008-08-01 | Juniper Networks |
| As the number of users grew, the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Lakdrabang (KMITL) network was challenged to provide secure remote connections for users accessing the campus network. The Computer Research and Service Center (CRSC) considered implementing a VPN, yet software had to be installed on every client computer, which made the system complicated and difficult to use. To avoid this, the CRSC decided to go with the Web version of a VPN-an SSL VPN solution-since most of the users would have a Web browser. KMITL deployed solution from Juniper Networks which comprises four components: the Juniper Networks Secure Access 2000 (SA 2000) SSL VPN, the J-series Services Routers J2350 and J6350, the ISG 2000, and SSG 550M.
