Stewart needed a tool to distribute software upgrades to its customer base that would enable them not only to deliver the software, but also to have a detailed audit trail of which customers downloaded what files, and when. Biscom Delivery Server turned out to be the perfect solution to Stewart's problem. BDS is a Web-based secure file transfer solution that enables enterprise-class large file transfer.

By Using Biscom Delivery Server to Send Large Files Both Internally and to Their Clients, John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods Reduces Help Desk Calls, Eliminates Dependency on Email Attachments, and Secures Company Data | 2008-04-02 | Biscom |
| Since John Wieland (JW) Homes develops property, they have three groups that constantly need to access, share and edit large files. Since the company has a strict 10MB email attachment file size limit these documents cannot be sent via email. The documents, however, must be obtained immediately and frequently. The FTP process in place was not meeting their needs for more than one reason. Given these difficulties, the company began looking for alternative solutions. They did not want to implement a traditional FTP site nor did they want to outsource this function due to the highly proprietary nature of the data being transferred. BDS had all of the features they were looking for and solved their problems.

| One of the largest law firms in the United States with more than 500 attorneys and nearly 50 offices in major metropolitan areas was primarily focused on ensuring privacy protection of confidential client information. Because the firm has so many offices across the United States, their challenge was even greater than most. They needed a solution they could deploy quickly and easily to the entire staff, not one that needed to be individually installed on each computer. Since their attorneys are across the country, the solution also needed to be self-explanatory. The firm investigated multiple secure delivery products, and their research and testing led to the conclusion that Biscom Delivery Server (BDS) was the easiest-to-use, product available.

How Cisco IT Deploys Closed-Circuit TV Cameras Over the Secure IP Network | 2007-12-21 | Cisco Systems |
| Cisco uses video surveillance to help keep its work environment secure. Two years ago, Cisco used a combination of cameras and Video Cassette Recorders (VCRs) to monitor building entrances and other high-security locations on its campuses. Managing the VCRs, coaxial cabling, and tapes was labor intensive and prone to human error. Looking for a better solution, Cisco implemented Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) over IP for surveillance. The system uses digital video and uses IP to carry the video signal across the network to digital video recorders in a centrally managed data center. Since making the change, Cisco has improved security, enhanced building access control, and significantly reduced security costs.
