Overview

FIDUCIA IT AG wanted to comply with statutory requirements of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) - an initiative that created a zone in which the euro is considered domestic currency for electronic payments. The challenge was to utilize the most up-to-date technologies in line with the business strategy of modernizing the company's core banking system. FIDUCIA IT AG worked with Oracle Consulting to develop the SEPA application based on decentralized components using Java and Unix, and Oracle solutions as well as ensured high-availability and fail-safe systems management through the use of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition with Real Application Clusters.
