Overview

Windows Server 2003 includes several new features to help businesses control storage management costs and increase availability of data. This webcast covers these new storage features such as the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) and the Virtual Disk Service that make it easier to manage and maintain disks. Point-in-time imaging through VSS simplifies and speeds up both backups and restores, and the Shadow Copies of Shared Folders feature of VSS enables users to restore their own files and folders without IT intervention. This webcast also covers the Encrypting File System and Distributed File System features of Windows Server 2003.
