Overview
In an uncertain labor market, recent college graduates need every advantage available to stand out from the crowded field of job applicants. An N.C. State University professor says her undergraduate IT capstone course, which relies on SAS, is giving her students that competitive edge. The assistant professor of information technology at NCSU in Raleigh, N.C., is helping shape undergraduates into future thought leaders - many of whom are landing choice jobs straight out of school. At the heart of the senior-level course is its use of technologies like SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Enterprise Miner for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), which simulate actual business environments.
