Datang International Power Generation Company Limited (DT Power) is an independent power supplier with total assets worth CNY63.273 billion. The company wanted to improve financial management by establishing a unified accounting and finance system and maintain better budget, fund, and cash management. The challenges were to enable greater insight into project accounting and capital construction costs, cut materials and fuel costs and facilitate daily profit analysis. The company facilitated integration between financial, inventory, and project management systems by implementing a range of Oracle E-Business Suite applications. The company improved efficiency by streamlining contract procurement, order processing, invoice generation, supplier management, fuel accounting, and account payments.
