Overview

Spammers have discovered a new way to obtain your financial account information by developing a spam-borne email technique called "phishing". Phishing attacks use social engineering, 'Spoofed' e-mails and 'Spoofed' urls to fool even discriminating recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames and passwords, social security numbers, etc. By hijacking the trusted brands of well-known banks, online retailers and credit card companies, phishers are able to convince up to 5% of their targets to respond to them. This webcast discusses what to watch for when opening email and responding to offers.
