Overview
This paper explains about a BHO or Browser Helper Object which is a DLL. It allows the user to customize and control Internet Explorer. Upon starting Internet Explorer 4 or higher the BHO is read and used. The BHO has access to all the events and properties during the browsing session. These are designed to help one browse the net. The person will find related information for a particular search. If one have installed this onto the machine then it is fine. But if someone else has installed this onto the computer with out the person knowing it is now spyware. Others can use it to control the Internet Explorer and force one to view sites a person does not want to be on.
