Ruling Out Spam With Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam and Help From Capital Technologies Ltd. Saves a Law Firm $323,000 a Year | 2006-09-05 01:00:12 | Symantec |
| Spam makes up as much as 50 percent of the email that New Zealand law firm Kensington Swan receives each day. A custom antispam solution stopped 30 percent of that spam, but users still had to spend around 10 minutes a day deleting unwanted email, some of which was obscene, malicious, and potentially legally dangerous. Then the firm deployed Symantec Brightmail AntiSpam software. It is blocking virtually 100 percent of spam with zero false positives. This gives employees 200 hours a month for more productive uses, worth $318,000 year. The Symantec solution paid for itself in three weeks according to Symantec's calculations. | |||
