The Business of Serving Users With Unsupported Operating Systems

Overview

An estimated 70 million users are still using licensed versions of Windows 98 and Windows ME Operating Systems (OS). While the OS vendors can wait until such users upgrade or migrate to their OS, it provides an opportunity to engage with these users and help them enhance their computing experience. This paper delineates a strategy to engage with these users, turn them into paying customers, and help them migrate to one's OS.
