Introduction to Data on System z

Overview

The data sources covered in this paper were chosen based on their presence in customer environments. Although some of these data sources are not necessarily growing, they do exist in current day environments. T The other purpose of choosing these data sources was because of their interaction with the WebSphere Classic Integration Products. This paper serves as an introduction to data on the mainframe. The goal of this paper is to introduce some key concepts for the different data sources not to make users experts.
