Overview

WebLogic Server from BEA Systems is a pioneer and leader in the J2EE application server market. Today WebLogic Server is widely used to host both in-house J2EE applications and packaged enterprise applications. These J2EE applications that have been in development are now being deployed into production at an accelerated pace. This paper examines the challenges faced by IT operations groups in managing production WebLogic Server-based J2EE applications, and the use of BMC Performance Manager for BEA WebLogic in resolving these challenges.
