Overview

The vision of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is to promote a dyslexia-friendly society where everyone affected by the condition can reach his or her full potential. The BDA wanted to manage potential growth in the number of members following a constitution change within the BDA that allows membership to be extended to any individual or organization and replace existing Excel and Access databases with a single, scalable, secure, standardized solution for managing membership and other critical data. The company implemented Oracle Database 10g and migrated data from Excel and Access to provide a single database and used Oracle HTML DB to consolidate previously fragmented data into a reliable, secure, scalable, easily-accessible repository.
