Overview

IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator is a very flexible tool for data manipulation. It comes with Connectors to communicate with most common systems. However, sometimes an additional Connector is required, or an AssemblyLine needs to access some other functionality. In those cases, it is necessary o extend IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator using Java. This paper covers the three most common types on extensions required with Tivoli Directory Integrator - writing new Functions Components, writing new Connectors, and JavaScript access.
