Overview

Getronics, a global provider of IT solutions, operates dozens of Web portals as a service to its customers as well as its employees. One of the issues for users after they logged on to a Getronics portal was the need to repeatedly enter user credentials to access different sites inside the Getronics system. To streamline the user experience and improve IT manageability, Getronics became an early adopter of Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006, the newest version of the firewall, virtual private network, and Web cache solution.
