Fairview Health Services Improves Multisite Web Content Management, Boosts Compliance

Overview

In 2001, Fairview decided it was time to upgrade its intranet to eliminate the time-consuming and burdensome task of having Information Technology (IT) staff manually publish site content. In addition, the organization sought to enhance its intranet, so it could be used to better manage important business content associated with meeting strict regulatory guidelines, such as those outlined by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). After evaluating a number of content management solutions, Fairview selected Oracle Universal Content Management, previously called Stellent Universal Content Management, as its multisite Web content management platform.
