The Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust Provides Quick and Easy Access to Critical Information

Overview

The Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust is one of 600 NHS Trusts. The Trust needed a system that provided effective document management as well as effective content management. With more than 35 clinical specialties and more than 40 departments requiring the ability to publish clinical and departmental information, it was essential to have a straightforward content management system with templates usable by a range of non-technical people. In order to overhaul the existing Web site and intranet to ease site administration, reinforce brand messages, and ensure that information provided to staff and the public is both accurate and up-to-date, the Trust turned to Oracle, implementing Oracle Universal Content Management (previously Stellent Universal Content Management).
