Overview
Myrtue Medical Center was looking for a solution that was both effective and efficient. The hospital had a large number of computers and servers on their network, and a limited staff. Given the critical nature of their business, the organization needs to be "Up and running" one hundred percent of the time. The group needed to secure its applications and data centrally, to better deploy applications and enable anywhere, anytime remote access. With help from its consulting partner, HTS, Myrtue Medical Center deployed Windows Server 2008 on three of its servers, with plans to add additional servers in the future. Approximately 400 users will be served by the solution. The hospital is also using Terminal Services to provide remote applications to internal and external users.
